Submitting Your Application For Certification (back to all tutorials)
The following steps are required in order for your application to be reviewed for certification.

Step 1: Find your application in the Developer Portal
Go to My Projects in the Developer Portal and view your Applications In Development under the My Apps subtab. If you have not created an application, please see the Getting Started: Create Your First Application tutorial.
Click on the application you want to publish from the list. You will see a detailed view of your application with different options to edit pertaining to it in the side navigation provided.

Step 2: Finalize Your Branding
Branding information helps end-users make informed decisions when opting-in to your application.
To define your branding information, click on the Branding link in the side navigation provided.
You will see a detailed view of what current branding exists for your application. You can edit your application icons, name, URL, short and long description. Simply click on the change link to do so.

Step 3: Update customer support contact information
We require all applications to provide some form of customer support contact information so end-users may contact you should they need help or have questions concerning how their location is being shared by your application.
To edit this information, click on the Customer Support link in the side navigation.
You will see a detailed view of what current contact information exists for your application. You can edit your customer support email, phone number and/or URL. Simply click on the change link to do so.

Step 4: Complete your end-user notice
The End-User Notice explains how your application uses, stores, and shares location data. We require this information so that end-users can make informed privacy decisions.
To edit this information, click on the End-User notice link in the side navigation.
You will see a detailed view of what current end user notice information exists for your application. You can edit the answers provided for each question by simply clicking the Edit link.

Step 5: Submit your application for review
To submit your application for review, click on the Publish Application link in the side navigation.
Review the branding, customer support and end-user notice requirements pertaining to your application before clicking the Continue with publishing your application link.
As the final step to submitting your application, click on the Submit For Review button.

Step 6: Wait for a Veriplace representative to contact you
A Veriplace representative will review your application and keep you informed of your certification status.
You are also responsible for informing your representative of any changes you make to your application during the certification process.
You may be asked questions about your application's behavior or any content submitted through the Developer Portal. You may also be required to provide one or more testing accounts within your application to be used during certification testing.
If any aspect of your application fails to meet certification requirements, you will be required to make suitable changes within a reasonable time frame.
